Project Description

Teach-Me-Bot (Prototype), is an (proof-of-concept) app to promote early literacy development, focusing on children from low socioeconomic status families. It serves as a game wherein the child engages in a joint storytelling activity with caregivers or peers to familiarize themselves with various vocabulary words to learn through guided participation and scaffolding. With English being the language that American classrooms are typically taught in, it is imperative that a child understands the language or else they will not be able to understand the material taught.
