Project Description

MultiVRse is a VR world that immerses a user in realistic, culturally aware, scenarios with AI-powered language support tools that evoke nuanced and goal-oriented language learning experiences.

With the intent to design human-centered artificial intelligence, our group took a research path to answer  questions and to validate assumptions before implementing AI.

Learning Objectives: English Language Learning

My Role

Given my background in Education and design, I contributed my experience and skills related to language education, learning design and user research. Speaking both Mandarin and English, I conducted a large amount of interviews with Chinese learners who tried to learn English for needfinding, and facilitated all subsequent user testing.

Skills Applied: User Experience Design, Interviews, Experiment Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, and Language Learning Experience Design.
